Many hotels are booked out early or the prices are ridiculously high.

If possible, you should try to get a room / hotel or Airbnb place more and less in the city centre of Munich. We do not recommend to stay outside of the city. The Oktoberfest and all other festivities (After wiesn parties) are happening in the city.

The main area where Oktoberfest is happening is called „Theresienwiese“. Theresienwiese is very close tot he Munich central station.

If you start looking for accommodation, we definitely recommend to fina a private place. You can start searching for a place on Airbnb. However there are also local German Airbnb competitors which are worth to try as well.

On the one hand it is Wimdu.de on the other hand there is 9Flats.de. There are also some other short term rentals providers you could try to contact. They are provideing a big variaty of holiday apartments you could rent in Munich. One oft he larger holiday apartment provides is for instance fewo-direkt.de.

You should also have a look at some student room rental marketplaes such as wg-gesucht.de or studenten-wg.de During Oktoberfest in Munich many students „give up“ their apartments in order to get some cash. It might be a good chance for you to get an appropriate accomodatioin at a reasonable price – at least much cheaper as hotel prices during Oktoberfest in Munich.

Welcome to my Oktoberfest Germany Blog

http://www.oktoberfest-germany.de/oktoberfest-blog/welcome-to-my-oktoberfest-germany-blog

http://www.oktoberfest-germany.de/oktoberfest-blog/welcome-to-my-oktoberfest-germany-blog#comments

Uncategorized

Dear visitor, welcome to my blog on the biggest party in the world taking place in Munich every year.
